More Birthday Pics

Well, here's some more pictures for you. His cake, opening gifts and on his "big boy bike". He is so impressed with his bad self for being able to ride a big bike so well.

I bet some of you want more Lucas pics! Well, we thought we'd leave you in a bit of suspense and get those up this week sometime. Lucas was asleep for the whole of the party, the little party animal. :)

Jaden's Birthday

Well, Jaden's birthday went off without a hitch - of course we're all exhausted today (except for Jaden) but it was all worth it. Jaden had his first party with friends - three friends to be exact. He has been excited for his birthday for weeks and for his party since he knew he was having friends over.
The first picture is of Jaden walking in and seeing the house decorated for the first time. And then of his first funny face as a four year old, and finally playing "Pin the Parrot on the Pirate".

I think the funniest thing about his party was definitely him wanting to open his gifts. He didn't like that parties have a convention and you have to play, eat, then cake BEFORE opening gifts. I had to perch the gifts up high. I noticed Jaden dragging out his step stool, and upon realizing the stool was still too short dragging a chair over to try to reach his gifts. Priceless. A good time was had by all.

A Few Pictures

These are pictures taken of Lucas at the hospital. Notice how interested Jaden is in the new baby (he's actually watching cartoons in that shot).
Truthfully, Jaden is doing extremely well as a big brother, we're just so proud of him. He's such a help to his mom and dad and is usually pretty patient when he has to wait for us for something.

Introducing

Well, the big day has finally come - we've a new addition to the family. Lucas Randy Edward McCann was born on February 6th at 3:45am. He was 8 pounds 6 ounces and 21 inches long. I'm trying to get some pictures up for everyone, so here's a few to whet your whistle! More in coming days I'm sure.
